History of the Flandreau Chiropractic Clinic

In the Past

Chiropractic care has been present in Moody County for almost 100 years, with Flandreau Chiropractic Clinic serving the community since 1964. The first chiropractor to serve Moody County was John W. Platt who first came to Flandreau in 1916. He was well known during that time and served as South Dakota board president for 11 years. For the next fifty years, several chiropractors have been know to serve this area. One of the most notable was Dr. Peter Stahl Jr. who purchased the Sugar Bowl, to work with his son-in-law Dr. Steven Headrick.

Dr. Stahl then retired in 1991 and Dr. Headrick continued to run the office. Dr. Chad Weber came to the office September 1995 and purchased it from Dr. Headrick in 2001. They continued to work alongside each other until Dr. Headrick’s retirement in 2013. Flandreau Chiropractic Clinic looks forward to serving this area for another 100 years.

Thank you for choosing the Flandreau Chiropractic Clinic.
